The Blurb Doctor is In

Writing a blurb is tougher than I thought. A blurb is that brief description of your book that ends up on the back of a paperback to entice readers to buy the book. It’s also what generally appears on the Amazon page for those who prefer ebooks or can’t see the book in person.

It’s a sale pitch. Marketing stuff. And if something that I’m finding a I’m not really that good at. Distilling the idea of 118,000 words into a few paragraphs is difficult as a writer.

So, I’m taking some internet moneys I just got from one of my side ventures and putting it towards hiring a Blurb writer. I found one recommended on Facebook and then also the Blurb Doctor.

Hopefully one of them will give me an awesome blurb that people will read and fall all over themselves to buy my book!
